The 2022/23 Chelsea Third Jersey takes fans back to where it all began. In 1886, workers at the Royal Chelsea arms factory in London founded Dial Square Football Club, later renamed Chelsea Football club. Over the door at the Royal Chelsea Gatehouse hung a crest that included cannons, later adopted by the club, and lightning bolts.
The season's new jersey incorporates this piece of club history with a lightning bolt pattern on the collar. A lightning bolt design was also used on Chelsea jerseys in the 1990's.
The new Chelsea Third kit brings North London to the world.
